Ipomoea purpurea

This is a mix of multicolored flowers on annual, warm season vines. Plant in spring or summer once the weather is warm. Give them a trellis to grow on or let them climb on other plants. Keep watered through the warm season for continuous flowering. They may drop seeds and volunteer in spots that stay watered during summer.

Note: This species may be invasive in some regions. I have not found them to be aggressive in the SF Bay Area. I usually get some volunteers in potted plants that I water regularly during summer, but they have never become a problem. This is NOT the perennial vine, Ipomoea indica, which is very invasive in California.
